All Members have done the module throwing the plastic shuriken at each others Gi so understand the application

Metsubushi

- these are not set techniques, they are examples to show the Concepts and the Movement that make the Concepts possible - the techniques for the Weapons you already know and are drilled in each Phase

Shuriken
As all Members have previously done the module where we throw the plastic/rubber dummy shuriken at each other everyone knows the Concept
- with a Spearman behind and a Swordsman in front we use SABAKI to Evade, the throw the blades and Escape
- this used Unarmed in the KENPO later
This ties in with the GOTONPO Escape and Evasions modules we have covered over the Season
DO Ton Jutsu - go down use the Earth
MOKU Ton Jutsu - climb the tree - this applies to the modern example of climbing a wall or onto a vehicle such as a van
use of a bush is a COMBO of the Earth and Wood concepts - as seen on GRASS days
KIN Ton Jutsu - use of tools - the Grappling hook, the Shuko claws, the Kunai and digging tools
SUI Ton Jutsu - use of water
KA To Jutsu - use of fire
The NINJA Method is to use Surprise, Deception and Distraction in the fight, and to Escape - which makes it more ideal for a Self Defence situation than the Samurai Methods of going into battle
NOTE - The Samurai Methods are needed with certain Professional applications - The Door, Security work in general, Police work and certainly in the Military
