if there are rules that say you can't do something
if you can't gouge the eyes
if you can't strike the groin
if you can't use weapons
if you can't have multiple opponents at the same time
if you have a corner that can throw in the towel for you
if you can tap out
if you have a break between rounds to towel down and have water, and people there to bring you a stool to sit on
if people have to pay admission to see it
then it's a Sport
In a Street Self Defence Survival fight
there are no rules
you can't tap out
you can have multiple opponents - on either side
you can have weapons
no time limits or rounds
and you might not have a Team to help you, back you, cover you - but if you are smart and plan ahead, you can
every door fight I was involved in I had a Team and backup

In a Street fight
anyone can get a lucky punch
a lucky knockout
if he has a knife he can get a lucky stab or cut
a lucky hit with a bat
nobody can get a lucky Guard Triangle Choke
