SAVATE - Boxe Francais - French Boxing
goes back out to the longer range of Karate, like Shotokan into Full Contact Karate with the Boxing added
refers to English Boxing as Boxe Anglais - hands only
so Boxe Francais is the kick boxing version
uses the Chasse side kick as it's primary kick
Chasse D'Arret - Interception
in some ways Kick Fencing rather than Kick Boxing as it draws from the French sword
it's complementary weapon is La Canne, the walking stick - like Largo Mano
in STMA we primarly source the ABC Enchainment combinations in partner drill applied in Sparring
these can be worked on the bag and focus pads

it's complementary weapon being Krabi Krabong
Krabi Daab double short swords - pairs with KALI
Closer range, kicking with shin, using knee - so like Kyokushin
adds use of Elbow in matches
