Concepts:
after the kempo we had a bit of Q&A where I was able to explain and demo some Street concepts in regards to:
leg takedowns
Street and cage concepts regarding leg tds
Judo, kb and shoot
Why we DON'T do some of the daft kneel advances we see in "cage/MMA/Brazilian" in a real fight - or ever a cage fight

In UFC1 Royce defeated Ken Shamrock in about a minute.
The fight went to the floor and Royce dominated Ken, nullified his attacks and got the choke.
But the reason why the fight went to the floor was that Ken sprawled him.

If Royce Gracie can get sprawled then YOU can!

I also explained why you don't chase someone on your knees:

1. on the Street you will shatter your kneecaps on the concrete

2. in the cage you will get sprawled or worse you will get kneed or kicked in the face

Conan Silvera, a Brazilian Jujutsu Black Belt got kicked in the face and KOd by Mark Weir a TKD fighter.

Even if you have done some BJJ, and even if you think you are good at it, you are almost certainly not a black belt in it
- and if a black belt can get kicked in the face YOU can!

3. It is uneconomical
- don't shoot and sprawl
- progress from kicking to punching to trapping to grappling.
If the opponent backs away from your leg td then spring up and launch
a punch, a leg kick, or a jumping knee, depending on what range he has backed himself into.

Many members asked some important questions at this stage which I was able to answer.
