For those familiar with Kung Fu Five Animals, the 5th animal is the Leopard from which we derive techniques such as shikan ken, the leopard paw. In Kempo we view Leopard moves as a sub domain of Tiger, it is not a style in it's own right.
In the Japanese take on Kempo, Shoronji, the Hoko techniques of the Bear represent the Chi Earth, while the Doko techniques of the Tiger represent Sui Water.
Also when talking about the "Five Elements", we need to make sure we are talking about the Godai, Earth Water Fire Wind Void, or the Gogyo Earth Water Fire Wood Metal - one refers to states and one refers to transformations.
