although a lot of side mount game is transition there are finishes from there and it's important to have one or two good ones rather than loads that you can't in real time

we're planning a mat day so members get the chance to try newaza "rolling" sparring - for some members this will be quite new or even first time, but even seniors now have a lot more techniques and strategy in their game that they will get to try

I demod some of the shinobi "ninja" movement methods including tiger crawl and monkey knee walk which have applications in grappling as well as silent movements and have their foundation in Junan Taiso, a form of "ninja yoga"

we also discussed how the taijutsu of grappling can be seen in yoga and more modern forms of exercise such as Pilates - however our "exercise program" is strictly Junan Taiso as it has deliberate combat application - it is not exercise for the sake of exercise
