Students are not to jump ahead on drills and are NOT to try to "teach" the drills to each other.

The only person who can teach a technique or drill is the INSTRUCTOR - ie myself!

There are too many mistakes being made in things like 6 count and 8 count where the chambers and angles are wrong. The number 2 coming from the under arm chamber coming out horizontal like a 3 is one example.

We MUST take time to correct these little errors otherwise everyone will be doing all the drills wrong.

I will personally show every member the next drill and tell them when they are ready to practice it with another student.

IF you say to someone "do you know 6 count yet?" and they say "Yes", by all means do it. If they say no then you DO NOT try to teach it to them!

The regular students, those who attend Wed and Thu both sessions each week, will advance the quickest.

Recently we have had certain members, those who come one week and then miss the next, returning after a month away expecting to learn the next drill from another student!

Take the time to learn these drills properly. It will pay dividends in the long run and don't be in a rush to advance to the next drill until you have perfected the one you are working on.
