The Raid films, both One and Two, are made in Indonesia, by a Welsh Director, and a showcase for SILAT in films - the way Seagals early films were a showcase for Aikido, and The Perfect Weapon is a showcase for Kenpo
While they are worth seeing in their own right, and I found the second better than the first, most interesting aspect is the character Hammer Girl, named after her weapon of choice
Using claw hammers in pairs, one end being blunt, and one end being blade/sickle
She is partnered with Baseball Bat Boy, who uses his own weapon like a sword/katana, and actually hits a baseball as a projectile weapon
Pretty clever original stuff
