During the karate section we refered to body blows including
suigetsu - the solar plexus
kanzo - the liver
jinzo - the kidneys
these are koshijutsu targets as they hit nerves and organs, cause pain and nervous disruption and a visceral reaction in the opponent
the koppojutsu targets the bones, breaking the ribs and sternum
with karate the suigetsu is attacked
fudoken - clenched fist
shikan ken - extended knuckle "leopard paw" fist
nukite - spear hand
kanzo can be punched, and is also attacked with mawashigeri, the round kick
with Savate, kanzo is specifically attacked using the fouette whip kick using the cap of the boot
jinzo is attacked with the side kick, fist and elbow in karate and kempo, sometimes other kicks
