The fourth MK technique is Thrusting Salute, a defence against a front kick, responding with a low gedan Barai block, a kingeri groin kick, and the thrusting salute itself, the palm strike to the face
Thrusting salute relates to the KF technique Deflecting Hammer, where the kick is blocked to the outside and the reply is an elbow strike
