A outlaw is being chased.
This can be a modern outlaw being chased by police with guns, a ronin in old Japan being chased by samurai with swords and bows, or a Spartan warrior. Or it could be Robin Hood being chased by the Sheriff. It doesn't matter, the story and message are timeless and apply to all eras
The outlaw gets to a cliff edge so his only option is to start climbing down
As he is climbing down he sees a pack of wolves, or maybe tigers, depending when and where the story takes place, waiting to eat him
As he is hanging there, halfway up the cliff face, with the wolves or tigers or whatever waiting below, and the soldiers waiting above it seems he is fucked whatever option he chooses, up or down
Then in front of him, growing out of the cliff, he sees some wild strawberries
Ah, he thinks, a third option
