Relevance to KOBUDO -
1. All UNARMED COMBAT is based on WEAPON principles - nobody goes into battle Unarmed
2. All stick fighting is based on blades - nobody goes into battle with a stick
3. All self defence is Unarmed or stick - you defend yourself, you do not carry a blade because there is no lethal intent
4. You have to train and understand blades to be able to defend them, whether that be with a stick or Unarmed
